US Government Employees Holding Crypto Assets Can’t Work on Crypto-Related Policies

The United States Office of Government Ethics on July 5 issued a legal advisory warning that banned government employees holding crypto assets from working on crypto-related policies.

The legal advisory provides an exemption for federal employees with less than $50,000 investments in mutual funds with crypto exposure to participate in handling crypto policies.
